You are my completion

For years there was an empty space inside me that was shaped just like you.
I tried to fill it with other things and other people, but nothing really fit.
It wasn't until you came into my life that
I realized the space was yours, and it could only be filled by your laughter, your warmth, your tenderness and love.
I was okay before you came along.
My life was full, and I had people I cared about and who cared about me.
But the space was always there....
always empty... waiting for you...
Now I am more...
more okay, more full, more complete,
because you came into my life
and fit so perfectly into that empty spaces.
You are my completion
and my love.

It's coming...

The leaves are beginning to change and fall is coming. I enjoy all of the seasons but fall maybe my favorite. There's a coolness to the air at night that makes you want to curl up with a blanket but still leave the windows open.

In the morning I set out on my swing drinking my coffee as the breeze gently releases the leaves from the tree's. It's as if everything is in slow motion as they fall and tumble around on the ground. It's peaceful as I set here and listen to the birds sing. I love fall.

ahhhh... Yesss.... I am married

It was my country wedding that I always wanted as a little girl. It did get a bit bigger than I was really wanted but not as big as it looked like it was going to be. Everyone was good and no fights broke out...(that's always a plus). We did all the traditional things that I had never done with my first wedding (that took place in a garage). The cutting of the cake.
Fed each other cake,

the throwing of the garter,
the throwing of the bouquet, and then our dance. It was beautiful.
Ray danced with my favorite cuz's daughter and I with Ray's dad.
I laughted and had a wonderful time. And YES..... we had a great honeymoon. This was taken at one in the afternoon.

I love surprises

After we closed the restaurant for the night Ray took me on a drive. All I was told for this trip was to pack a bag with warm clothes. This was my first "bed and breakfast" and it won't be my last. The nice people that own this place are Dave and Maxine. They make you feel that it is yours as well as theirs and you are always welcome home.

There were a few other surprises for me when we got there. Working for a restaurant I have to work valentines, so Ray decided that we would have ours early.

This was the best valentines ever.

I love hearts.

appropriately we had the cowboy room.

Thank you Baby!!!

Guess what...

After looking at every option to find the right man for me... I found him the old fashioned way. I've been serving him food for month's.

I had never been proposed to...Yes, I was married but his mother made the arrangements and we did it... in a garage. It was the paper work needed for insurance to have prenatal care. Sad but true.

My sweetie's name is Ray and it was perfect. On one knee and with a ring. He said that he wants me in his life, for the rest of his life, and to be his wife, and then he asked me to marry him. I keep pinching myself to see if I'm dreaming. He he he... What a surprise.

And just for shits and giggles...

10 minutes with Teri

Shandi gets about 10 minutes a day to talk with me and it's in the bathroom as we get ready for our day. Today she tells me that I need to give it to all of you as well. Hummm... This is the little story that I told her this morning:

At the school help desk where I work, I stood at the help desk with my head down and I heard one of the students say, "I will tell you a story after Mom leaves." Now, I know he knows what my age is but none of them have never treated me any different then anyone else in the school. I look up at him surprised. At first he looks at me with confusion and then he realizes... Oh god no not you, as he points the other kids mom and says, "her." "I've heard the jokes that you have told and your cool. "

Ironic... I would rather be thought of as a slut then a mom.

Come aboard...

As Shandi and I arrived on the ship this is the room we walked into. It was so beautiful.

We could hear music and looking down over the stair case we could see where it was coming from.
Off to our room to see what it was like. I just had to get up in the window for a picture, so that we would have proof that we did have a view.
Okay Shandi, it's your turn...get up there!!!
Up we go to the 13th floor (They call it the 14th but I don't believe in that crap... if I did I would be taking a trip on Friday the 13th) to have a drink or two. And see she too has nice martinis.
Back inside we go by the pool with the lights reflecting on the water it's like magic.
Many different types of art are all around to enjoy.

I laid down on the floor to get this angle. I think Shandi has a picture of me getting this shot.

This is all for now and tomorrow....it's back to school. Four classes and two jobs...?
