Shandi gets about 10 minutes a day to talk with me and it's in the bathroom as we get ready for our day. Today she tells me that I need to give it to all of you as well. Hummm... This is the little story that I told her this morning:
At the school help desk where I work, I stood at the help desk with my head down and I heard one of the students say, "I will tell you a story after Mom leaves." Now, I know he knows what my age is but none of them have never treated me any different then anyone else in the school. I look up at him surprised. At first he looks at me with confusion and then he realizes... Oh god no not you, as he points the other kids mom and says, "her." "I've heard the jokes that you have told and your cool. "
Ironic... I would rather be thought of as a slut then a mom.

I'm visualizing a t-shirt here: I'D RATHER BE SEEN AS A SLUT THAN A MOM.
I relate to that very much so!
Don't get me wrong, I love my boys, but somwhere along the line, I stopped being looked at as a wanton, slutty, sexual, dynamo.
WTF is THAT about?????
*sigh*
Talk to me, mama!
